At Ihsan Education, The RISE with Ihsan: Muslim Women Leading with Divine Love, Purpose, and Resilience™  is a 12 week online faith and leadership empowerment group program experience here to support you on that journey of spiritual growth, self-discovery, and leadership rooted in faith, launching this Fall 2025 in sha Allah.
The RISE with Ihsan Program aspires to Cultivate a God-centered community of Muslim women who learn, live, love, and lead with Divine Love, purpose and resilience so they can RISE with Ihsan (moral beauty and excellence). Together, we seek to empower you to:

More than a leadership program, RISE with Ihsan is a path to nurturing the heart, refining one’s inner compass, and building a lasting legacy anchored in Divine love.

Grounded in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the rich legacy of historical and contemporary Muslim women, this program nurtures a leadership model that is both visionary and heart-centered.

​Through guided tadabbur (deep reflection on the Qur’an), faith-based mentorship and coaching, leadership learning modules and collective reflection, women are equipped to lead lives of spirituality, courage, and service-cultivating influence and sowing seeds of lasting impact in their families, communities, and the ummah (greater community).

​This is leadership that begins with Divine love and ends with a legacy of ihsan (moral beauty).

وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ 

“The believers, both men and women, are guardians of one another. They advocate virtue and discourage immoral acts, establish prayer and pay alms-tax, and obey Allah and His Messenger. It is they who will be shown Allah’s mercy. Surely Allah is Almighty, All-Wise” (Quran 9:71).

At Ihsan Education, we are working on a return to that legacy, reviving a tradition of strength and purposeful leadership rooted in Divine Love.

  • Reclaiming Your Voice: Healing and Divine Connection

  • Cultivating Resilience & Holistic Well-Being: A Path to Sustainable Leadership
                 This module will builds on Dr. Raghad’s doctoral research on resilience and compassion-based                                         approaches to supporting diverse and Muslim individuals and communities. Drawing on the                                               importance  of relational support, affirming identity, and holistic well-being, this module equips Muslim                       women leaders with the awareness to build systems of support to cultivate inner strength, navigate                             challenges, and foster collective flourishing.  (Speaker: Dr. Raghad)

These sessions are practical, interactive, and faith-inspired led by Muslim female leaders and educators—offering you tools to pursue your dreams with heart and balance. 

📖 Engaging Holistically with the Qur’an & Nurturing Faith

​Monthly tadabbur ​session—deep engagement and contemplation  of the Qur’an—as a holistic experience engaging the mind and heart. We will guide you on shifting the relationship with the Quran from a performative to a transformative one which encourages positive change in your life in sha Allah. Together, we’ll connect timeless Qur’anic wisdom to our daily lives, nurturing and grounding our faith, purifying the heart, and strengthening our resilience through a living relationship with Allah’s words.

We will be diving into a thematic study of Surat Al-Kahf which includes important lessons on the trials and triumphs related to a leadership journey. Surat Al-Kahf holds special significance in our flourishing with the light of faith as the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated: “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on the day of Jumuah shall have a light that will shine for him from one Friday to the next.” (Mustadrak al-Hakim, 2/399).

(Sessions to be co-facilitated with sister Cima Dairanieh who has been blessed to be a student of the Quran for almost 3 decades, dedicating time to memorization, tafsir (interpretation) and tadabbur (deep engagement and reflection) and studying with diverse teachers in these specialties. She also obtained her Ijazah in the 40 Hadith Nawawi Collection as well as the 40 Hadith of Al-Sham Collection. She hopes to lend her support to the participants of this program as they strengthen their relationship to Allah's revelation, and gain connection and confidence to internalize and exemplify the Quran's principles and lessons. She is also continuing her pursuit of traditional Islamic studies, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and spiritual enrichment.)

 ABOUT the program founder & leader

Dr. Raghad is a grateful mother and has completed her PhD in Education with a focus on compassionate and resilience based leadership approaches to support holistic well being and belonging for diverse students including Muslim students and communities. She completed an undergraduate Arts degree in psychology before acquiring her Bachelor's of Education and becoming an Ontario Certified Teacher, as well as completing a Masters in Educational Leadership. She has also received a variety of certifications and training including certified intercultural competence trainer, spiritual care and compassion cultivation training from Stanford University and Hospital, and Resilience Expert Training from Dalhousie University.

She is an ongoing student of classical Islamic education with Muslim scholars and teachers, many of whom are female, focusing on Quranic studies, Tafseer and Tadabbur (exegesis and reflection on the Quran). One of her teachers is Dr. Zainab Alwani, Founding Director and the first Associate Professor of Islamic Studies at Howard University School of Divinity (HUSD) and vice chair of the Fiqh Council of North America. Dr. Raghad has been involved in teaching and mentoring in her faith community, which most recently includes delivering Quran Engagement Programs to university students. 

Dr. Raghad brings over 15+ years of experience in leadership education, development, teaching, training, research and scholarship in a variety of settings including schools, university, government, private, and non-profit organizations as well as personal and community development, positive psychology, women’s mentorship and coaching in the Muslim community.
