IHSAN EDUCATION TRAINING OVERVIEW:
Teachers, educators and parents are faced with multiple demands both in and outside the classroom and in the home which leaves little time or opportunity for professional development. However, research has shown that the key to a quality education is the quality of its teachers (Levine 2006; Scott and Teale 2011), which necessitates ongoing professional development for teachers, educators, and parents.
Continuing education and training is even more pertinent at a time when the student body continues to change economically, racially, geographically, linguistically, academically and even emotionally and psychologically as a result of conflict, the surge of refugees around the world, and the increasing challenges and needs brought on by the everyday changes in technology, the environment, the media, etc. which influences why and how students learn best.
This is why we created the Ihsan Educator Certificate Program - a world wide accessible and convenient online training program, for educators and parents who are looking for training based on the type of content offered in a post-secondary/college level program in education. The program is suitable in particular for Islamic, International and Private Schools as well as homeschooling parents and networks.
This engaging and unique program:
*Enables teachers to gain more confidence and skills in applying important, research-based, engaging teaching techniques which boost academic achievement and creativity as well as the love for learning in students.
*Receives positive feedback from parents who saw a difference in their children's level of engagement and enjoyment for School and Learning.
*For Testimonials from previous participants from our program, please visit the home page by clicking here then scrolling down.
The program is offered online for groups of up to 10 educators or more, with an opportunity to interact with an instructor and qualify for a certificate from October-April with level 1 of the certificate program being offered from October-December and level 2 offered from February-April (January is a break). For more information, please visit the Online Certificate Program tab.
However, based on requests by educators, if you are an individual/only one teacher or educator who wishes to access these trainings on your own as a home study version at any time, without access to an instructor or the ability to qualify for a certificate, this option is now also available for half the cost of the program offered between Oct-Apr. for groups of 10 educators or more .

What Teachers Need to Change the Future, by Asad Choudhary (School Principal, Doctoral Student in Education)
"The future is in the hands of nation's teachers...the quality of tomorrow will be no better than the quality of our teacher workforce" (Levine, 2006, p.112). This statement affirms my belief that teachers need to be the most well-trained professionals in our society because they have a direct impact on the quality of our and our children's futures. In this webinar, we discuss the skills and traits our teachers need to have which include building rapport with students through respect and non-judgement, using a student-centered approach to teaching and learning and being a good role model for our students.
